My specialty is nowhere on this list (it's likely the specialty with the fewest women), and that's ok! I'm a cardiothoracic surgeon and it's amazing! I love that I can fix broken hearts, transplant hearts and lungs, and change lives, all while being a wife and mom! It's never easy, but it's worth it. Never settle!
